Best Birdathon Result:  111

2007 Target: One more than MAC Pack!

2007 Result: 105

Team Description:  Once again its East vs. West as the Agua Calienteers square off against the Masonites (a.k.a. the Mac-Pac). Last year's thrashing wasn't enough and they've already been scheming and talking sMac! Perhaps they're a wee bit jealous of the fabulous snacks and table settings that led us on to victory…

The Calienteers, made up of Tucson Audubon shop volunteers and rounded out by a few staffers, will again use the moveable feast strategy by performing a series of “big-sit” circles, starting at Agua Caliente Park, in NE Tucson, then moving up through the various life zones (and picnic areas) along the Mt. Lemmon Highway.

With 18 (or more) pairs of eyes and ears fine-tuned for birding, picnic baskets bulging with goodies and refreshing beverages (we even have table clothes and candelabras!) there is no way we can lose! Its all for one and fun for all, GO CALIENTEERS!

Pledge Now!  You can make a secure online pledge or donation to this Birdathon team!

NOTE: If you make a per species pledge, no dollar amount will show on the shopping cart checkout screen. But you must go through the entire checkout process for your pledge to register. After the team's Birdathon is over (no later than May 15), you will be contacted with the number of species seen.

Flat donations will show on your shopping cart checkout, and will be charged, without further contact, within three working days of your online donation.
