2008 Target: 30 2008 Result: 48 Team Description: Our fossil fuel-free Birdathon team will be birding on foot around Pima County's Arthur Pack Park on the northwest side of Tucson. We'll be exploiting the great natural resources that have been preserved at Arthur Pack Park, including the water bodies at Crooked Leg Golf Course contained within the park. Having made the positive decision not to drive long distances in search of birds, we plan to enjoy the birds and habitats close by. As part of our education outreach focus, we'll endeavor to engage other park users during the day. We're working hard to gather sponsors for our team. Pledge Now! You can make a secure online pledge or donation to this Birdathon team! NOTE: If you make a per species pledge, a dollar amount of $0.01 will show on the shopping cart checkout screen. You must go through the entire checkout process for your pledge to register. After the team's Birdathon is over, you will be contacted with the number of species seen and the amount that has been charged to your card. Flat donations will show on your shopping cart checkout, and will be charged, without further contact, within three working days of your online donation.
