Team Description: On three Birdathons we had car trouble and had to quit, get car fixed, and pick up the last hours another day. On our 1st Birdathon, I was using my trusty Audubon "tweeter" and called in a bird tour guide (who shall remain nameless). In our early Birdathon, I was so purist I only counted what I saw (not heard). A Dusky-capped Flycatcher landed in a low bush right in front of me and sang like he was saying now count me! (It was just before quitting.)
