Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum –  birdwalks every day (7:30, May – September, & 8:30 a.m., October – April).  Meet at museum entrance. Call 883-2702. Free with admission.

Arizona State Parks – birding and other walks. Fee. See www.pr.state.az.us, or call (602) 542-4174. Fee.

Weekly Hike

Arivaca Cienega
- Saturday at 8:00am
Join Tucson Audubon for a bird walk at Arivaca Cienega in Buenos Aires NWR every Saturday at 8:00am November through April, whatever the weather, meet at the Arivaca Cienega trailhead. We will walk approximately 2 miles of mostly flat trail. You can expect to see between 30-55 species, depending on the season. For more information about this walk call Bob Rolfson at (520) 399-2873.

Boyce Thompson Arboretum – Open 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily (except Dec. 25). Bird sightings are posted at http://ag.arizona.edu/BTA/events/birdwalks.html. 689-2811.

Catalina State Park – 5 a.m. - 10 p.m, Fee. Fall/winter birding walks on Fridays at 8-10 a.m. at the first picnic area past the entrance. Call 628-5798 for more information.

Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve – open 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. October 1 – March 31. (Closed Mon. & Tues.) Donation Required. 394-2400.

Ramsey Canyon Preserve – open every day 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. $5.00 general admission; kids 16 and under free. 378-2785.

Sabino Canyon in Coronado National Forest – birding and nature hikes. Parking fee. Call 749-8700.

Saguaro National Park – Call 733-5153 (East) and 733-5158 (West) for schedules of bird and nature walks.

Southeastern Arizona Bird Observatory – hawk and crane tours on Saturdays and Sundays, fee. 432-1388.

Tohono Chul Park – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Birding walks at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday & Saturday, Oct. - May. Entrance fee. 575-8468.

Tucson Botanical Gardens – 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Entrance fee. 326-9686.
