Tucson Audubon Society
Over the past fifty-five years, many individuals have given generously of their time, resources and energy to make Tucson Audubon the outstanding conservation, education and recreational organization that it is today. Tucson Audubon is honored to be able to recognize contributors who have provided $5,000 or more over the past three years. With the assistance of Santa Theresa Tile Works, we have developed a concept for a donor wall that reflects the unique character of Tucson Audubon. The concept for the wall includes three iron panels decorated with handmade tile. The tile work includes birds nesting in "bird boxes" of natural gourds carved with scenes from our restoration work, recreational programs, educational opportunities and conservation work. Donors who have given between $5,000 and $14,999 can have their name printed on a tree leaf, donors over $15,000 can be recognized on a bird, and institutional contributors will be recognized in the border design. Come check out the donor wall located in front of the Main Nature Shop on University Blvd.
It is a tribute to the generous individuals who make our work possible. To learn more about the donor wall and other giving options, contact Vivian MacKinnon at 629-0757.
